Awards & Recognition
As a result of their advocacy, research, and teaching efforts, the physicians of Northwestern Orthopaedic Institute have received numerous professional awards and recognition in the press for their contributions to advancing the field of Orthopaedic medicine; these include:
- Dr. Adam Bennett: The Mead Johnson Award for Graduate Education, an award given to the country’s 20 most outstanding family medicine residents, and the Resident Teacher Award from St. Joseph Hospital
- Dr. Mark Bowen: The Philip D. Wilson Award for Outstanding Research from The Hospital for Special Surgery and the James K. Stack Teaching Award from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in recognition of his academic and research activities; also named one of the Best Doctors in America by Woodward/White
- Dr. Victoria Brander: Research Mentor of the Year from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine; also been named one of America’s leading physicians by Chicago Magazine
- Dr. Armen Kelikian: The James K. Stack Teaching Award (four times) from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in recognition of his academic and research activities
- Dr. Gordon Nuber; The James K. Stack Teaching Award (four times) from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in recognition of his academic and research activities; also named one of America’s leading physicians by Woodward/White, the Castle Connelly Guide, AOL.com, and Chicago Magazine
- Dr. S. David Stulberg: Named on of the Best Doctors in America by Marquis Who’s Who in America—Top Physicians and one of America’s leading physicians by Chicago Magazine
